I was crewing yesterday for mull charters on the penultimate day of the season.
I took this film of compo diving in for his supper.
I’m out tomorrow with possibly my last wild mull tour we will be open though the winter tho if we are about.
I am changing vehicle this winter so please let me know if you are looking at a trip with me.

Had to go check on some properties this morning it’s still very windy specktacula seas waterfall are inverted.
Quite a lot of trees down, but some how we still have power on in pennygheal.

We are running two tours on Monday and Tuesday and have spaces available
Will be looking at the red deer rut , golden eagles, white tail sea eagles and see if the otters are in there usually places. It always an exciting time on mull with the Rut the hills and glens are alive with the red deer grunts and bellows, I had friends here for the rally and we managed to watch them but we got quite wet Monday and Tuesday the weather looks good.
I’ve just had a walk and actually came across hen harriers so hopefully some are returning for winter.

That’s the beatsons building supplies mull26 rally done for another year.
I took a bigger role this year doing setup that for me started quite a few months ago I got to work with a fantastic team of volunteers helping set up all the stages and ceremony start finish .
I then got asked to present awards such a privilege, I for one know how hard this rally is and just making the start is a achievement and then to finish, but to cap it of with an award is a huge honour.
Thanks you to all the people out marshalling , the mull community support, and the business staying open for 48 hr was fantastic to find a coffee and cake shop open around midnight.
Congratulations to John macCronel Kirsty Riddick for winning the rally in a ford es**rt with a few modifications from the original car.
And mum got the chance to give the best Yorkshire crew there trophy too.
The best rally in the world .
