A big thank you to everyone who shared our post yesterday.

We are delighted to inform everyone that we have secured the following for our festival weekend.

Thursday: Shorthorn BBQ
Friday: V.I Pizza- Homemade Dough.!
Saturday: Indian Food Diva

Timings are just being secured up and we’ll post shortly.

🚨🚨 OCKFEST ’26 – URGENT SOS!! WE NEED YOUR HELP!! 🚨🚨

Well, we’ve been thrown a rather large curveball just THREE DAYS before Ockfest! 😳🤦‍♀️

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, our booked street food vendor, Meat Freaks, has had to pull out of our entire FOUR-DAY festival.

Firstly, we genuinely hope everything is OK with Andy and wish him all the best. ❤️

BUT… this now leaves us with a rather BIG problem!! 😬

🍔🌭🌮 CALLING ALL STREET FOOD VENDORS!! 🍕🍟🥙

We are desperately looking for fabulous food traders who can come to our rescue!

📅 Thursday 29th October – Sunday 1st November

Whether you can cover ONE day, TWO days or all FOUR, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!

⏰🚨 WE HAVE JUST 24 HOURS TO FIND OUR REPLACEMENT VENDORS!! 🚨⏰

Why the rush?!

Because we also need to secure FOUR parking spaces on our front car park through the council, and the arrangements need to be made within the next 24 hours!

So time really is against us! 😳

✅ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

⭐️ Must be a registered Staffordshire food vendor.

⭐️ Must hold a valid Public Liability Insurance policy.

⭐️ Must be able to provide evidence of both.

We have four days of live entertainment, fantastic b**r, steins and a cracking atmosphere planned, so this is a brilliant opportunity for the right food traders!

🍺🇩🇪 AND BEFORE ANYONE PANICS… OCKFEST IS 100% STILL GOING AHEAD!! 🇩🇪🍺

We’ve worked far too hard to let a little hiccup stop us! 😂💪

Scaffolding and fencing at the Star.

Thank you so much to Daz the electrician for coming to help myself and Rich this morning secure it until Arrow come out and deal with their fencing that is around the gable end of the pub.

With the extreme high winds we’re having it took some of the picket fencing out and blown over the top.

It is secure now but we are awaiting the company who own it to check everything and see what damage has been caused.

Thank you to the two ladies who came into the pub this morning to also make us aware.
