That’s all, folks.

Running The Point House has been an absolute blast these past four summers. From oyster days and sea shanty bands, music festivals, Pembs Potato feasts, Lobster rolls, cocktail masterclasses, secret high-tide banquets — with lots of Cafe Mor, Barti and laverbread.

It’s been joy and chaos and utterly brilliant.

We’re now working with Angle Estate (Owen & Owen) to find new tenants to take on what we firmly believe is the best pub in the world.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported, visited, sung, danced, cooked, supplied or simply raised a glass with us. You’ve made it magic.

Time for me to lie down for a while, blitz some Barti jobs — and become a beach bum again.

Wow, firstly huge thank you for all your messages we have been blown away!

And secondly a massive thank you for all your votes, this year the Point House won the Gold Seal in the Good Food Awards 🎉

Open Wednesday till Sunday (day time only), throughout October and then everyday during October half term (booking recommended via the website).

Hey folks

It's with a heavy heart that I have decided to hand in my 12 months notice at the Old Point House after 4 brilliant summers here.

Operating several businesses at the same time is no longer sustainable and that is why I have reached this very difficult decision.

For now we will remain open until new tenants are found (see website for autumn opening hours).

We have done our very best at the Old Point House, bringing it back to life, and adding the campsite, BnB and kitchen garden means it has a fantastic platform to carry on for many years.

But the pub deserves and requires someone who can give it 100% focus and with my other business commitments this is something I cannot do.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone, customers, staff, suppliers and family who have supported us along the way.

A beloved Old Point House local, Gary Thompson passed away unexpectedly at the end of the summer.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

So we will be closed Tuesday 9th September to allow all our staff to pay their respects at his funeral.

The funeral will be taking place at 1pm, Tuesday 9th, Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, SA67 8UD

Followed by Hibernia Inn, Angle.

Family Flowers Only.

Live music with the best Sea Shanty Band in Wales Bois y Bryn on Saturday from 2pm

Live music with local legend Robbie Price on Sunday from 1pm ISH.

No need to book, first come first serve.

Hey folks,

We have live music today from 1pm and again tomorrow with the Bartiwaves.

As usually it's Cafe Mor from 12 till 3pm, no need to book but if you are a large group just gives us a heads up 👍

Bar from 11am till late.

Point House kitchen from 5pm - 8pm, we are pretty full inside this evening but the hatch is up and the best beer garden in the world has plenty of seating, so we are good ☀️

7 Acts, One Day. This Saturday, 19th July.

This is our start of the summer holidays celebration ☀️

A mini festival in the best beer garden in the world on the shores of East Angle Bay, organised by the local music legend BB Skone.

No need to book, first come, first serve.

Bar open from 11am till late / Cafe Mor open from 11am till 8pm ish.

Bring a chair. 

Double marquee’s available to shelter from the East Angle Bay sunshine.

Make a weekend of it and camp or stay at the pub, very limited space so book quickly via the website.

We are open every day and every evening from the 19th Jul 🙌
