Both the Beer Garden and our tucked‑away Secret Garden are buzzing today — pints pouring🍻, chatter flowing, and everyone soaking up the rare Scottish sunshine.

If you’re looking for a cosy spot to unwind this weekend, we’ve saved you a seat.

New taps. Awesome venue. Let’s go. 🍻

Delighted to be pouring at The Horseshoe, Eddleston. A cracking spot just outside Peebles that absolutely gets it right. Great food, lovely rooms, and a bar that makes you want to stay for “just one”… and then ignore that plan completely.

We’ve just installed two fresh lines and kicked things off with:
🍺 Hammer Time – crisp, clean German-style Kölsch
🍺 Gold Run – our Citra pale bringing the zest

If you’re in the area, it’s well worth the stop. Go for the food, stay for the pints… and probably another round.

Hello Busy bees, we are having such an amazing response for our club and we have already had couple of meetups now. But today just a quick update.

Unfortunately our WhatsApp link has been picked up by scammers, and even with admin approval it’s becoming difficult to tell who is genuine and who isn’t.

To keep the Busy Bee Club safe, I have closed this group and created a brand‑new one.

In the new group, I will only add people I personally know, or anyone that current members would like me to add on their behalf. This keeps things secure and makes sure it stays a friendly, local space.

If you’d like me to add in the group chat, just drop by the The Horseshoe Inn either on Tuesdays at 3pm or on Thursdays 6pm.

Thanks for understanding — keeping our wee creative hive safe is the priority.

We’re now pouring Guinness — and Guinness 0.0 for the drivers, the do‑gooders, and the “I’ve-work-in-the-morning” crowd.

To the mysterious dog owner who left us a little 'Present' outside our guest house today - next time, feel free to pop inside- we've got free dog bags and a wee chat waiting for you.
We love our four legged babies, so be a good neighbour, pick up after your puppy, and keep Eddleston tidy.

Just a quick update, as you all might be aware of the current water situation in Eddleston and Peebles, unfortunately we have to close The Horseshoe Inn for tonight. We really apologise if you have booked a table or rooms with us. We are in constant touch with the Scottish waters and they are working on it.
