🍻 Front of House / Bar Staff Wanted – The Kings Head, Pebmarsh 🍻

We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable individual to join our front of house team.

Shift Pattern:
• Monday: 11:30am–3:00pm & 6:00pm–11:00pm
• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 6:00pm–10:00pm
• Friday: 11:30am–6:00pm
• Saturday: 5:00pm–10:00pm
• Sunday: Off

You will be responsible for:
• Taking restaurant orders
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working confidently behind the bar
• Communicating effectively with our kitchen team
• Helping create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Requirements:
• Aged 18+
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, but not essential
• Full training will be provided
• Friendly, positive and approachable personality
• Ability to work well as part of a team and stay calm during busy periods

🐶 Charity Dog Show Update 🐶 CANCELLED

It is with disappointment that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming Charity Dog Show.

With temperatures forecast to reach up to 30°C, we feel it is in the best interests of the dogs, owners, visitors and everyone involved to put welfare and safety first. Whilst we were all looking forward to a fantastic day, the wellbeing of our four-legged friends has to come before anything else.

The air conditioned pub and beer garden will still be open so do please pop down for a cold drink and bite to eat. 🍻

Our kitchen will be closed for one week in July to give our hardworking staff a well earned break
The bar will still be OPEN all week! 🍻

We’ve got a great line-up of food trucks joining us from Wednesday through to Sunday, so you can still enjoy some amazing food alongside your drinks. 🍻

Food truck serving times:
Wednesday – Saturday: 5pm–9pm
Sunday: 12pm–4pm

Looking back at all the successes of our previous Charity Dog shows we hope to see you all there this year!
Fundraising for Danaher animal home entries will be £2 per class, along with a tombola! Please bring cash for dog show related payments although the pub will still be taking card for drinks and food.
Bank holiday Monday 25th May. We look forward to seeing you and your dogs there!
Pub opens at 12 noon Judging starts at 1pm.

A massive thank you to all of our staff for the hard work that goes into keeping standards high every day — we’re really proud of this achievement.
