We’re excited to introduce our new Indonesia – Takengon, Aceh espresso from Nuach Coffee.

🌱 Origin: Takengon, Aceh, Indonesia
👨‍🌾 Producer: Iwan Patra & smallholder farmers
🫘 Varieties: Catimor & S. Lini
🍒 Process: Natural

Sweeet, fruity and beautifully rounded, with tasting notes of:

🍯 Vanilla Toffee – smooth, rich sweetness
🍑 Nectarine – juicy stone-fruit character
🍇 Grape – a gentle fruity finish

The natural process allows the coffee cherries to dry with the fruit still around the beans, helping develop those deeper, sweeter and more fruit-forward flavours.

We’ve dialled this coffee in specifically for espresso, creating a shot that is sweet, smooth and full of character — equally delicious on its own or with milk.

Fraser McFarlane - 1st August Saturday from 8pm

Not Always. Not Never. is a musical project from Paisley-based singer/songwriter Fraser McFarlane.

Blending a love of storytelling with a punk-influenced indie-rock sound, McFarlane wears his influences on his sleeve, often name-checking favourite American songwriters Craig Finn, Brian Fallon, Dan Campbell and Jason Isbell. Discerning listeners may also hear shades of indie rock artists closer to home—Martha, Fresh, ME REX and Dublin’s CHEWIE.

Not Always. Not Never. released a first single, Grace, in late 2024. Since then, two further singles, April Showers and Dance With Me, as well as a live EP recorded at the ancient Paisley Abbey followed in 2025. The single Either Way was released in January 2026, followed in May by the (Official Unofficial) Scotland World Cup song, Think Again.

With plans in place to perform more and further afield in late 2026, as well as eventually to debut a full band, McFarlane is working hard to develop the Not Always. Not Never. live experience and making plans for future releases.

🍒 Domaine de Pellehaut Gamay / Pinot Noir
Light, smooth and beautifully fruity, with vibrant notes of fresh cherries, raspberries and a hint of spice. An easy-drinking red that’s perfect slightly chilled.

🍇 Punta de Vacas Malbec – Argentina
Rich and velvety with flavours of ripe blackberries, plums and dark chocolate, finished with soft, silky tannins. A classic Malbec that’s full of character.

🌿 Organic Nero d’Avola – Sicily
Bold yet elegant, offering juicy black cherry, blackberry and subtle Mediterranean herbs with a smooth, lingering finish. Organic, full of flavour and wonderfully balanced.
