Happy New Year from Queen Vic 🎉

Well… having to temporarily close was definitely not on our 2026 bingo card. But here we are, rolling with it and keeping our chins up. Onwards and upwards, and we will keep you posted every step of the way!

Smashing our Christmas raffle total was a highlight. The biggest one yet! Thank you for turning up, buying tickets, getting involved and showing us so much love this year. 💛

Huge thanks to our sister site The Hyde Dendy Paignton Seafront for stepping in and helping us host. For now, pop in there and you will spot some very familiar Queen Vic faces behind the bar. Go say hello, they will be buzzing to see you!

Good news too, QV loyalty points still apply at Hyde Dendy, so you are not missing out one bit. Same perks, same people, just a different bar for now.

QV absolutely smashed the Christmas raffle this year, beating our total record from last year with raffle ticket sales (£4,596)! A massive well done to everyone who walked away with something shiny. We had a prize lineup that felt like Santa raided Currys 🤣 (PS5s, a 50-inch telly, Chromebooks, Ring Doorbells, cash prizes and loads more)

Today’s the day. Our annual Christmas Raffle lands at The Hyde Dendy at 1pm, with £1 tickets and big prizes waiting. We’ll be going around selling tickets before the draw, so you can still jump in and get your name on the list! 🤩

Queen Vic might be taking a little winter nap, but your nights are far from over! Let Street Golf Paignton become your new local this December.

Street Golf is now open all the way till 3am every Friday and Saturday, including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Years Eve. Even better news, your Queen Vic loyalty cards still work so you can still enjoy your usual QV prices.

Queen Vic is currently closed for the foreseeable future, but your favourite faces and your usual prices aren’t going anywhere.The Hyde Dendy is just down the road, and we’re opening a little earlier to welcome our QV regulars. Your QV loyalty cards are fully accepted, which means your QV drink prices still apply at both The Hyde Dendy and Street Golf.

We’re also opening even earlier on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am for our 'Bay’s Biggest Breakfast', so you can still get your weekend started the right way.

For now, pop down to Hyde, say hello to some familiar faces and settle in! 🍺
