We have some good news. Thursday lunch trials have been a big success so we will continue to open and feed you 12-2:30. We are also extending our Sunday evening kitchen service and opening at the earlier time of 5pm and closing the at the later time of 9pm. To book a table head to our website www.chesterarmsoxford.co.uk and remember if we are fully booked we do keep half the pub for walk ins.

Saddle up sinners. Grab a pint, lace up yer boots, and join us for another music-fuelled mess crawl through East Oxford. Live Americana, bluegrass, and country music will be gracing your ears at multiple venues. And of course, a few street-side hoedowns are to be expected thanks to a general lack of shame/quite
possibly too much cider.
Acoustic sets, spontaneous singalongs, questionable dancing, and whisky-fuelled joy are all on the menu.
And a SPECIAL FINALE at our last venue will have y'all stomping and shouting your way to last orders. Are you intrigued?!
* And new this year!* The will sling handmade wristbands for a suggested £10 donation. Proceeds will be used to keep the Ramble rollin' (aka a musicians' drinks tab) with whatever's left (hopefully loads - I will cut them off if necessary!) going to .

We are hosting a charity quiz at The Chester with all proceeds going to the up keep of Aston's Eyot, the nature reserve behind the pub. We will have Darragh Ennis aka 'The Menace' from ITVs The Chase as quiz master for the night. It's very exciting. We are looking for prize donations, so calling all fellow business owners, artists, craft folk, generous customers, can you donate a prize?
