Hi All, we are Domino Partnerships and we work at the Arts Centre in Burscough Wharf with adults with additional needs.

Performing Arts, Live Music, Theatre, Jazz, Drama, Conference Facilities, Training Establishment, Venue for hire, Party Venue, Additional Needs, Domino at The Wharf, Domino Partnerships, Theatre Space, Room Hire, Business We host Drama Workshops on Wednesdays and with a few places available and a work skills training day on Thursdays. At The Wharf. The other part of our job is to run the Arts Centre and there’s lots going on there including an Ormskirk Ukulele Club, Jazz nights, Ha Ha Comedy Club, Touring Drama Productions, two sewing groups, and room is also available to hire for training and private parties, oh and it’s fully licensed from 11-11.30pm.

Hi Everyone, we have decided to end the monthly jazz night at The Stanley in Burscough. It seems to have run its natural course over the last 12 or 13 years and it needs putting to bed. Thank you very much to all who supported the evening from musicians, singers, guests and especially the audience, without whom it would not have taken place at all. We have had some great nights over the years that could not have been planned. Many thanks to all we wish you the best for the future. Sandy and Tony

Unfortunately Monday nights jazz at The Stanley has had to be cancelled due to an electrical fault. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope it hasn’t disrupted your plans too much. Please pass the message on to other who might attend in case they miss this post. See you next month.

Jazz returns to The Stanley this coming Monday 11th March. We have some new guests this month as Mike Smith is away. The wonderful David Burke on Clarinet appears alongside Paul Marks on Trumpet. Thanks to Rae Owens we also have a special guest on keyboard Tim Saul all the way from the Isle of Bute. Plus plenty of regulars and, no doubt, Tom Foolery from Rae and the band. Very accessible and toe tapping music and fun and it is open to all for just £5. Bring your friends.

Hope the Paracetamol intake has diminished now the Christmas period is fading into the distance and the January blues have settled upon (some of) us. To lift your spirits, we have our monthly jazz night this coming Monday 8th at The Stanley in Burscough. As usual guests are welcome to sing and play with the band who are also refreshed and Rae Owens will keep things moving along in his inimitable style.

Look out for the festive red noses at Decembers’ jazz at the Stanley. I’m so taken with them that I keep mine all year round. Yes, it’s jazz night at The Stanley this Monday 11th December. If that wasn’t enough to entice you then we will also be having our Christmas panto hosted by impresario Rae Owens. It’s open to all so come on down - and tell your friends.
