The wait is finally over… 🎉🍒

After weeks of refurbishment, preparation and training, we’re so excited to welcome you back through our doors from 5pm today.

Whether you’re joining us for a catch-up over drinks, your first meal in our refreshed pub, or to cheer on England in their opening World Cup game, we’d love to see you.

A huge thank you for your patience while we’ve been getting everything ready. We can’t wait to show you our new look and start making memories in our beautiful new space.

It’s been a busy week behind the scenes as the team gets back into training after our refurbishment!🍒

From tasting some of our new delicious dishes and wine, to perfecting coffees and getting back out on the restaurant floor, we’ve been brushing up on all the little details to make sure we’re ready to welcome you back.

The countdown is officially on, we can’t wait to open our doors this Wednesday the 17th of June at 5pm🍻 See you soon!

We’re nearly ready to welcome you back! ✨

After a five-week refurbishment, the countdown is officially on and we can’t wait to reopen our doors at Cherry Tree. 🍒

You may have spotted some familiar faces in the pub recently. Staff training is well underway as we put the finishing touches in place and get everything ready behind the scenes.

When we reopen, we’ll be welcoming you Monday to Friday from 9am for coffee and pastries, with breakfast returning Saturday and Sunday from 9am. Our new daily menu will be available from 12pm.

We’re so excited to welcome everyone back Wednesday 17th June at 5pm… not long now ❤️

From polishing glasses to measuring up and little sneak peeks of the new layout, the pub is really starting to come together 🍸🍻

Whilst the team out front have been busy getting everything picture perfect, the chefs have been hard at work behind the scenes getting ready for what’s to come too! 👨‍🍳🔥

Rumour has it the staff are back and busy behind the scenes, putting the pub back together ready to welcome you all back 🍻

The world’s largest football tournament returns and there’s no better place to catch every moment than The Cherry Tree.🍒🌳

The FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on Thursday 11th June and runs through to Sunday 19th July, and we’re all set to bring that unbeatable match day buzz to Olney. At the Cherry Tree you’re never far from the perfect view of the big game; with two different ways to watch the action:

The Hipwell Bar ⚽️

Our upstairs function space will feature two giant screens, surround sound and a great match day atmosphere complete with a fully stocked bar and table service food all game. It’s first come, first served, so arrive early to secure your spot.

Private Dining Room⚽️

Prefer a guaranteed seat? We have a big screen in our semi-private dining room just off the main restaurant. This is the place to gather with up to 15 of your friends for a spot of pre-game dinner, with full table service whilst enjoying the game. There’s only one table per game - once it’s gone it’s gone!

England’s Road to Glory?😝
England head into the tournament with ambition, drawn into Group L alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama. We’ll be showing every England match live, so you can follow the Three Lions every step of the way.

England vs Croatia - Wednesday 17th June, 9pm (UK time) - coinciding with the re-opening of our newly refurbished pub!
England vs Ghana - Tuesday 23rd June, 9pm (UK time)
England vs Panama - Saturday 27th June, 10pm (UK time)

We will also be showing two of the Scotland games and all other World Cup games that are shown at a UK friendly time!

It may be heating up outside… but somehow it feels even hotter in here. 🌞

Week 3 of the refurb and things are really starting to take shape. The vision is coming to life, progress is moving quickly, and we can finally start to picture those first pints being poured again 🍻

We’re missing having the place full of familiar faces. The chats at the bar, catch-ups over dinner, and seeing the pub doing what it does best. It won’t be long now until we’re welcoming you back through our doors for a pint, a meal and a proper catch-up and we honestly can’t wait.❤️

The UK might be melting, but we’re not sure anyone embraced the heatwave quite like our Head Chef Ben… high vis on and a ice lolly in hand…🍦☀️
