Once again, the fantastic Halfway House and I are joining forces for a brilliant fun day, raising money for two wonderful causes: Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and the Oldham Hospital Children’s Ward Christmas Appeal. ❤️

It promises to be a fantastic afternoon, starting straight after the football—so why not come down, join in the fun and help us raise as much money as possible?

Good morning to all our wonderful customers and friends of The Halfway House 🧡

Today we want to share something with you all

The three lads in the photo above you ll recognise from the pub my
Sons 🥰 and they are incredibly proud of their dad, Paul — or “Ratty” as most of you know him. Alongside his great friend Lee, and supported by Andy along the way, they are taking on an unbelievable challenge: 340 miles from Plymouth to Oldham in just 10 days to raise awareness of Renal Medullary Carcinoma and make a real difference. 🧡

And today is DAY 4… and it’s starting to bite 😢💪

After three huge days on the road, it’s really taking its toll. Sore feet, aching legs — and as you can see, Ratty has even resorted to wearing two different shoes because his feet are absolutely done in! 😂👟

But despite the pain and exhaustion, they’re still going.

The boys are incredibly proud of their dad, pushing through every single step, every single day. And for Paul, having his lads watching and supporting him through this journey is something truly special.

They’re not just walking mile after mile — they’re raising awareness, raising funds, and giving hope.

So today, we’re asking our amazing Halfway House family to get behind them 🙌
