Important Notice & Update for Booked Families: The "Spooky Train" Trick or Treat Walk 🎃🚂👻
To everyone who has booked onto our Kids' Halloween Party, we’re excited to share an extra activity planned for the afternoon!
At 4:00 PM, we will be setting off on our "Spooky Train"—a safe, organised, and fully supervised trick-or-treating walk around the immediate local area.
Please take a moment to read the following safety guidelines and disclaimer before joining:
Parental/Guardian Supervision is Required: All children participating in the walk must be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent or responsible adult (18+) at all times. Our team is leading the route, but children remain the full responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout the walk.
Controlled Route: We will be visiting a pre-planned, friendly local route. To keep everyone safe together, please ensure little ones stay with the group and do not wander ahead or onto roads.
Road & Footpath Safety: We will be walking along public pavements and crossing roads. Please keep children close, hold hands where necessary, and follow instructions from the walk leaders when crossing.
Weather & Visibility: Late afternoon can get chilly and dusk will begin to set in. Please ensure children have a warm layer under/over costumes and suitable walking footwear. Feel free to bring a small torch or glow stick for extra visibility!
Treats & Allergies: Treats handed out by local stops may contain allergens (including nuts, dairy, and gluten). Please inspect all sweets before allowing your child to eat them, particularly if your child has specific dietary needs or allergies.
Optional Participation: Joining the walk is completely optional. If you or your little ones prefer to stay warm inside and skip the walk, you are more than welcome to remain at the pub.
By choosing to participate in the Spooky Train walk, parents and guardians acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the safety, supervision, and care of their children.
