𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 🎂🍺
So The Tusker Rock isn’t even 12 months old yet but September marks 8 years of The Coach Brewing Co… so along with our 3 big sister pubs, we were let loose into the brewery to help create 8 birthday collabs - 4 cask & 4 keg.

We’re not telling you what we brewed just yet, but it’s big, it’s hoppy and it’s a southern hemisphere number, so you might fathom a guess. 🇳🇿

All 8 beers launch at Brew HQ aka The Coach on Thursday 17th September - with the big birthday bash alongside their epic fortnightly Open Mic Night. The beers will then be pouring on rotation here in Ogmore, as well as The Cross Inn & 1 Town Hall Square from Friday 18th onwards. 🎉

We’re looking for enthusiastic pint pourers to join our team at The Tusker Rock.

If you’re friendly, reliable, and love working behind the bar in a lively atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you. No experience necessary, but is preferred. All necessary training will be given.

💰£12.71 per hour
🕰️ Part time hours available, across evenings and weekends

Must be over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.

This Wednesday 12th August, South Wales gets a front-row seat for the biggest solar eclipse visible from the UK since 1999, with more than 93% of the sun expected to be obscured along our stretch of coast. 🤩

There aren’t many better places to watch it than overlooking the sea with a pint in hand, so join us at The Tusker Rock 🍺🌊

Join us on Saturday 15th August for the inaugural “Coach to Coast 2026”, a charity walk in aid of Disability Sport Wales

Starting at The Coach, we’ll be heading 5 miles across the scenic Welsh countryside towards the sea and finishing at The Tusker Rock for a well-earned pint by the coast.

Entry is £15 and your ticket includes:
