🚨 New Team Member Alert! 🚨

Please join us in welcoming Sandie to the Kerrera Marina family! 🐮

After being won at Rory's Rugby Youth Awards (Eddie completely understood the raffle mission - well done!) this beautiful Highland Cow has found her forever home with us.

Currently hanging out on the trophy shelf, because every bar needs a trophy cow, you'll be seeing plenty of Sandie in our future adverts and around the marina, so keep a lookout and give her a wave when you spot her! 👋

We think she's already settling into the role perfectly. ❤️

Woop woop! So excited about this one! Fancy an evening being inspired to have your own sea adventures? Fancy coming over to kerrera, hanging out for a couple of hours eating pizza and listening to the delightful and then hearing from the legend that is , the amazing girls from the scotland clipper boat and obans own olly cotterell. An opportunity to listen to some amazing tales, ask questions and hopefully leave with a belly full of canapes, beer and fire, inspired to follow your own adventures! It's been a tough week for all of us this week. We have sadly lost 2 wonderful and very much loved characters that many of our regular customers know and love.

There have been many tears and an air of slight discombobulation about the team while we try to keep the wheels turning and also navigate big emotions as we all try and support each other through our sad bits. So, please forgive us if we have been a little wobbly around the edges this week! But also please join us in remembering 2 very lovely dogs whom our regulars will know and love!

Squeak, aka the other wife. She was Charlie's side kick, but also had a massive crush on Tim. They would happily sit at the bar for hours, sharing a bag of pork scratchings and holding hands. She would get cross with Charlie if he didnt get to the bar in a timely manner in the evening, enjoy a bowl of mussel shells from Michael, hang out near the pork scratchings just in case a bag was opened and needed testing and then get bossy with Charlie if she felt he had had 1 to many IPA's and march him to the door to go home... She is now sleeping, but we will remember her forever and we are all so grateful that we were given the opportunity to love her and her very lovely human family she brought with her. Squeak, I promise we will look after your humans and help them adjust to a new normal. ###

Alfie, the boy next door. Everyone who visited Ardentrive farm shop will have met the lovely big fur ball that was Alfie. He was the big gentle, but also very stubborn giant. Many a times we would meet Alfie on the road with his human dad (who also might be very stubborn....) having a discussion about whether they were going for a walk or not, the direction of said walk and what toy was being taken.... they always worked it out in the end but noone is quite sure who won! All we do know is that Alfie was just the best and also had the best life. He was a very lucky dog to have ended up being part of the Keys family. We were all so sad to hear of his sudden passing and send all our love to his family. ###

What is that saying... it is better to love and have lost than to have never loved at all.... it still hurts though!

Signs of summer here at kerrera marina...when you drive down the yard and meet the local lifeboat getting her bottom scrubbed to keep her all shiny and speedy! She has had quite a lot of exercise over the past week or so, its great to see her back in action after her enforced rest last month!

Thanks to and the girls in the office at . The boat was transported all the way from Plymouth and then lifted off the lorry at Largs. After an epic effort from team Rigby she has arrived safely at her home marina and we are all beside ourselves with excitement!
Stay tuned for news of our upcoming plans for her... some how she come tattooed with one of Timmys favourite sayings!

New coffee day! Having fought for years with the miserable old trout that was our bean to cup coffee machine and a very random chat in the pub with someone who turned out to know an awful lot about good coffee we decided that we would no longer be ruled by the whims and wishes of our witch of a machine, took his advice and have gone old school with a drip coffee machine which means we can now have amazing coffee without the pleading, begging and then swearing that inevitably happened every morning.

This is Ana Maria's coffee which is coffee of the year. Im not going to lie, its lovely! We have plans to feature small, local coffee roasters once our grinder arrives as well as Ana Maria's coffee.

So, while lattes are now a thing of our past, you can sit, enjoy the view and a bloody great cup of coffee with no need for any sort of crisis intervention between me and the coffee machine!

Never will you ever meet a more wonderful bunch of people! This weekend was a massive for our wee team, so big that we called in reinforcements in the shape of some very lovely, long suffering and loyal friends who turned up and got flogged and still left as friends. Every person who wore a kerrera marina shirt made my heart burst with pride. Not everyone is featured in these pictures, there were some camera shy ones but you all know who you are. Thank you, thank you so so many times. You are our heart beat and we are so thankful to have you all. More to follow but for now, please, a standing ovation for the most marvellous group of people. Preperations are well underway for this saturdays rib rendevous, the site looks amazing with the stretch tents, the bunting and what feels like 50 billion chairs. The bar is stocked, the wine has arrived (via, van then ferry then quad bike so its very well travelled!) The kitchen has been busy and we are very close to feeling a bit ready!

A few house keeping points please, when you arrive at the pontoons please be patient and look out for our staff who will be guiding you to the appropriate place for your boat on the pontoons. This might be slightly different to the map, its like trapping cats trying to keep track of who is coming and what size their boat is...on this occasion size really does matter! But please go with what our staff are directing you, they have the most up to date information on spaces.

Skippers breakfast is in the top shed, we are blantantly bribing you to come to the briefing with the promise of a coffee and a bacon butty! But there will also be breakfast butties and some home baking, tea, coffee avaliable at the waypoint for the crew. The oban lifeboatvwill be here for tours (ad long as they arent on a call out!) And then for those that fancy we will have our food festival in the evening, the auction and raffle at 8 and then the wonderful playing into the night.

Cash is king! We do take cards but have 2 card machine and limited wifi so card payments do really slow everything down. We can take card payments for the auction - just in case you see something you fancy - im pretty sure the helmet model doesnt come with the helmets so dont let that put you off!

And finally, we are a small marina with a staff team who are quite frankly magificant! Please treat them with respect, they will move mountains to keep everything running smoothly but some things can take a bit of time. Please pack your sense of humour, you smiles and your patience along with, dare i say it...your suncream and waterproof jacket!

Be like Bill, keep calm and drink in the waypoint!

We are looking forward to seeing you on saturday, safe journeys here. X
