This is hard to write......
We've made the tough decision to close the doors at the brewery 😞. It's taken much deliberation, however, we've ended up with little choice in the end due to a number of factors coming together to make trading very hard.
Pre covid, everything was brilliant but since lock down, we've struggled to recover. We were optimistic that things will get better at some point but more and more hurdles have got in the way. Despite sales eventually picking up to normal levels, massive increases in costs due to brexit, war and an inept government, has meant that the goal posts have shifted beyond our means. We've also taken a few financial hits from pubs and bottle shops closing down due to the same cost implications.
We've had a great time over the last 10 years Brewing nearly 1000 batches of beer. The staff have been incredible. Their commitment and quality of work has been excellent and not a fair reflection of the position we have found ourselves in.
Our micro pub in Beeston, Totally Tapped, is doing brilliantly and will continue to operate as a stand alone venue. We'll simple be exchanging the Totally Brewed lines for local breweries.
It's been a blast. We've made great friends along the way and had incredible support from so many people. We wouldn't have made it this far without you guys.
