"Voted Nottingham Best Independent of the Year 2017, we pride ourselves in making the best coffee in town, using the best ethically sourced products." Lucy and Michelangelo, a passionate couple from Italy in love with coffee, moved to London six years ago where they decided to open their first coffee consultancy business. In 2014, they traveled to Costa Rica to volunteer for the El Toledo Organic

Coffee Farm and experience for themselves what real coffee production means. In May 2016 The Specialty Coffee Shop opens its doors to the public, just over a year of their opening, in June 2017 they were crowned Best Independent Business of the Year. The Coffee Shop offers a variety of single origin coffees and homemade food and cakes, with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options, inspired by their Mediterranean origins and Latin American travels.
