NOTICE : PLEASE READ
As you may know Ashfield District Council has purchased the land The Wyvern Club is situated on. Planning has been accepted to demolish the club and rebuild another pub on the site. We have now been told we have to close at the end of the month. We have no premises to move to so we will therefore have to cease trading.

The Wyvern is not just a place to socialise we also home Kirkby Colliery welfare Band and Teds Auction. The council has left these groups without a base so we are asking for the community’s help to find them new homes by the end of the month.

If you have and ideas/suggestions or have an appropriate base they can move to please leave a comment or message us directly.
