A quick reminder about our two upcoming events...

Macmillan Coffee Morning:
We are hosting a coffee morning to support Macmillan nurses and our own 2026 charities.

→Friday 25th September
→10:00am to 11:30am
→Includes coffee, tea and cakes
→Entry just £5.00 per person

Donations, raffle prizes and cakes are all welcome. Please drop them off to Kim, Clive or Dave.

York Christmas Market Trip:
Explore York’s famous Christmas Market packed with charming stalls, festive food and unique Yuletide gifts.

→Friday 13th November
→Coach departs the Nags at 9am
→Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival at the York Hilton Hotel
→Then the days is yours to enjoy!
→Back to Woodborough for around 8:30pm
→Tickets just £29.95 per person

Payment due by 1st of October, with a full refund if the trip is cancelled. Coach spaces are selling very fast so BOOK NOW to avoid missing out!

Good evening,

Our annual trip to York Christmas Market will take place this year on Friday the 13th of November.

We depart the Nags at 9:00 AM and travel in comfort aboard an executive coach to York.

Upon arrival we shall be welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits at the York Hilton Hotel (the one opposite Clifford's Tower).

Then the day is yours to enjoy! Explore York’s famous Christmas Market packed with charming stalls, festive food and unique festive gifts.

We'll get back to Woodborough around 8:30 PM.

Payment is due by the 1st of October, and there is a full refund if the trip is cancelled.

Hi all, we've got a bit of bad news to bring you...

The incredibly hot weather has caused the motor in our kitchen extraction system to fail and we can't get a replacement part until some time on Monday ☀️🥵 As a safety feature, this automatically cuts off our gas supply to the kitchen, which affects pretty much all of our equipment. This means that we cannot serve food until Tuesday at the earliest 🍽️🚫

Obviously, this has come at a pretty bad time due to weekend bookings, but we will endeavour to be back up and running as soon as we can. Our bar is open and serving drinks as normal 🍻🍷

As a double whammy, our email newsletter is also facing technical difficulties 💻⚠️ so Facebook is the only way of getting the word out en masse. So, please can you share this information with friends & family who might be booked in/thinking of coming📣

ATTENTION Car enthusiasts!!!

After last year’s brilliant turn-out, Woods Motor Club’s Social Meet-Up is returning to our car park this Saturday (25th April) from 9:30am to 12pm.

As always, if you're into classics, customs, or just enjoy a good chat about motors, it’s set to be another top morning with fellow enthusiasts.

We’ll have bacon & sausage cobs, plus tea & coffee available from 9:30am to 11am to keep everyone fuelled.
