Waiter/Waitress/Barista responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front of the house duties and collecting the bill.
You Should be polite with our customers,be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
The duties require working in shifts and/or during weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
Full knowledge of menu, concept and restaurant procedures and policies.
Able to explain dishes and beverages to the customers in detail, including allergens and recipes.
Offer menu recommendations upon request,ensuring that the information given are detailed and correct.
Up-sell menu additional products when appropriate, without being intrusive.
Take accurate food and drinks orders in an appropriate manner ensuring that checks are sent to the kitchen in a fully understandable way.
Serve food and drink orders.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
Report any problems to your Manager or Supervisor.
Arrange table settings according to reservations.
Good knowledge of reservations system.
Ensure your section is always clean and tidy.
Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
Carry dirty plates,glasses and silverware for cleaning.
Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Check regularly the toilets (as well as other back of house areas) and ensure it is clean.
Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages.
Able to work in a team as well as alone.
Ensure restaurant and back of house is clean and tidy at all times,to provide the correct impression to customers.
Be on duty always in time and with the correct grooming standards.
Be responsible of the uniform or apron provided.
Be responsible of your own duties and follow delegations when given.
