Well, here we are. It’s Sunday, i haven’t advertised it very well but we’re OPEN! And if you look closely enough at the photo you can just about see the corners of my lips begin to form a smile.

Who’d have thought it? Well, no-one really, as I said it’s been poorly advertised! But we’ll be here from 2-8pm every Sunday from now until August bank holiday when we’re gonna be having an epic blow-out for our 15th Birthday.

Hey there folks!

It’s that time again! We’ve got the lovely folks from .stone.pizza with us this Saturday from 3PM serving up their delicious homemade pizzas. 🍕

They’re joining us on the first of every month until September (July TBC because they’re getting married that weekend instead! We’ll let them off) so don’t miss out, because before you know it it’ll be cold again.

Also, we’re officially back open on Sundays again! This will just be for the summer months, but we hope you’ll join us for a beverage or two in our beer garden for an additional day a week 😎🖤

⚡️ 💓 🐈‍⬛ THIS TRANSIENT ZING 🐈‍⬛ 💓 ⚡️

Now pouring at the taproom and available to pick up from the bottle shop!

Screaming pink from all the raspberry puree, this beer is a pure lip smacker. Clean, zippy and refreshing, with just enough coconut to balance out some of the acidity from the raspberry and a hint of lime, this modern sour really packs a punch.

Brewed in collaboration with the incredible Leeds based post metal band , and named for their track This Transient Spring

We’re excited to announce the return of the Black Iris Beer Garden and Bottleshop to this year!

We’re going to be pouring Seven different ice cold pints, as well as having our merch and bottle shop for any emergency tinnies needed over the festival weekend.

With the festival less than a week away, we’ve launched a PREORDER PORTAL where you can reserve 4 Packs, 6 Packs and 12 Packs of beer, along with Merch ahead of the festival. Then all you need to do is come down to the Black Iris Bar and collect your order.

Save that precious car space and let us do the heavy lifting, so all you need to do is relax and enjoy the music 🖤☀️🎶

When your beer be looking like Apple and Mango Juice… 🥭 🍎

Our collaboration with the awesome is looking beautiful today in the sunshine. We brewed up an incredibly delicious Double IPA packed with Citra, Motueka and Nectaron hops to bring you those thick juicy tropical fruit vibes that you all crave.

On tap at the bar today and on the web store!

The sun is out and spring feels like it is here!

We’ve got all the benches out to catch all those beautiful rays and lots of Black Iris classics on tap and in the fridge.

As well as that, we’ve got some newbies in the fridge, including Death Valley, brewed in collaboration with

For this beer we’ve brewed up a Californian IPA, not a juicy, hazy East Coast NEIPA and not a bitter, resinous west Coast IPA.

This beer sits somewhere in between, with the classic citrus kick of Cascade, Columbus and Simcoe in the boil, with plenty of Cascade, Chinook, Krush and Strata in conditioning. Big and hoppy whilst being clean and refreshing. With some killer motorbike artwork from Kev Grey in the mix.

Available in cans and on tap at the taproom this weekend :)

🐇🖤HAPPY EASTER 🖤🐇

It’s the final day of our spring bash, and we’ve got some bangers still on! Including the beautiful Hot and Cross from .brewing which is a 11.5% Hot Cross Bun stout, brewed just for Easter.

We’ve also got the lovely lads from with their beautiful cheeses and deli things serving up cheese boards and sandos all day!

We’re open from 12PM-8PM today, so come down an say hi and enjoy the last few sours and some cheese 🧀
