The Marlpit Arms invites you, through this page, to share its vision and its journey towards it. A traditional but quirky pub, providing real ales, good and honest food in a friendly atmosphere, a B&B, a Glamping Site, a hub for cyclists, walkers (and we can dream, canoeists), a friendly, beautiful and stimulating gathering point for the community, the extended community and the visitors, a window for local artists and craftspeople... this is what our vision for The Marlpit Arms is made of. The setting of these Listed Buildings is truly magical yet so very little known! Overlooking a water-meadow, the Marriott's Way and the River Wensum, just 2 miles away from the City centre by bike, The Marlpit Arms could -and will- become the perfect City-cum-Country pub! Still loads of hurdles to overcome though! We are supported in our efforts by a dedicated and inspirational community group: "The Friends of The Marlpit"... Thank you!
