I have a meeting with Anglian Water to catch up on where the village flood and drainage committee are. If you have any thing to raise with Anglian Water, please private message. I would rather reply privately than have a discussion on social media. Thank you

Report from meeting with Area Manager for Anglian Water - Love Every Drop. The ditching done by Guy Paterson clearing out the river ash from Crowgate through to Rectory Road, Ashmanhaugh has made a huge difference to the Crowgate pumping station saving a massive amount of surface water ingressing into the foul drains. Thank you so much Guy.

The pipes at the pub are now lined and working well. The pumping station near Granary Way is working well with clean sump and rising main and only having to pump shorts bursts each day.

There are jobs which are on the agenda for this year, lining some pipes and changing manhole covers etc.

The pipe from Scottow has been mended cutting out a massive 17,000 ltr per 24hours going into the granary way pump station.

So all progressing and hopefully will stand us in good stead for many years.

Today the rising main in the pumping station has been cleared and pressure washed. They have now got a temporary pump doing the job of broken main pump, so tankers are stand by now. That’ll be quieter tonight. New pump to be installed soon. Hopefully that is all the problems solved. Thank you Anglian Water - Love Every Drop
