Join us on Tuesday 11th August, from 2–4pm, as we celebrate National Afternoon Tea Week!

Tickets are £5 and include tea, scones and some entertaining presentations exploring:

🍓 The history of afternoon tea🍓 How “scone” should really be pronounced🍓 The great debate: jam or cream first?

There’s also a scone competition for local bakers. Simply bring six plain scones to be judged at the event. Entry is free for competitors—and the remaining scones will become part of the refreshments!

✨ Summer storytelling in our Enchanted Garden! ✨

We’re delighted to welcome Magical World of Stories to The New Inn for a very special summer session.

📅 Friday 31st July
🕔 5pm–6pm
📍 The New Inn, Norton Lindsey

Little ones can enjoy stories, songs, dancing and a fun activity, followed by a relaxing bedtime story and calming songs. Bring a cosy blanket and a favourite teddy, then settle down for a magical evening in the garden. 🧸📚

The pub will be open for drinks and refreshments throughout. If the weather lets us down, the fun will simply move inside!

Siblings are very welcome, and children under 12 months attend free. Tickets start at £9 and places are limited.

Whether you’re a petrolhead, bringing the family, catching up with friends over a pint, or simply looking for somewhere different to spend a few hours, we’d love to see you.
