It was with great sadness we learned of Tom’s passing. Tom did an amazing job at the Garibaldi and promoting local beers but more importantly, many have lost a friend.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family, his team, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and working alongside him.

Northampton musicians… this one’s for you. 🎶

From March 26th, Albion Brewery Bar at Phipps Brewery will be hosting an Open Mic on the last Thursday of every month.

Great beer, live music, and a relaxed night for local musicians and music lovers.

We’re excited to have well known Northampton open mic host Jordan Jones running the night. Jordan has been part of the town’s music scene for years and we’re really pleased to have him hosting here at Albion.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome! Play a few songs or come along for a drink and discover some new music and original artists.

A great village pub that does good food, live music, pool and darts!

Celebrating their 1000th brew, it's M, from Northampton's own Phipps NBC.

They say:
‘M’ brims with British hops. Emperor, Olicana and the yet-to-be-named CF298. Layered over rich Chevalier malt, delivering orange, pine and tropical fruit with robust toffee and marmalade notes.

Did you know?

We don't just brew beer.

Phipps Northampton Distillery was launched in 2015 to produce high-quality craft spirits on a small scale.

Phipps bottled its own London Dry Gin until the beginning of WW2 so reviving this spirit went hand in hand with the rebuilding of the company’s brewing range.

​Since then we have added interesting flavour varieties and gained many accolades for quality and range.

Gin, vodka and since late 2025 a beer spirit, complete the line-up of craft spirits.
