Today we are remembering our regular Phil Round who suddenly passed away several weeks ago and will be laid to rest today. ☕️

Phil was much loved in Newton: a regular of ours, a volunteer, a committee and board member, a friend, a colleague and quite simply a great human being. He will be deeply missed.

Thanks to the team at Bargain Booze who Phil bought his paper from every day and have paid for today’s paper. 💖🗞️

This is what Día de los Mu***os looks like at Willow & Ram. Flower crowns, sugar skulls, candlelight and a room full of people who went all out. It's back on Saturday 31 October from 7pm, with radical tarot readings from Debz, Babe with the Power, and £50 bar credit for the best dressed. £5 tickets get you a reserved seat and a drink on arrival. She had no idea what was under all that tissue. 🌼

This is our Little Marigolds piñata, and it's the start of something rather lovely. On Saturday 31st October, 1 to 4pm, we're hosting a Día de los Mu***os afternoon for the whole family at Willow & Ram.

Mar will share what the day really means, there's face painting (Halloween or Día de los Mu***os, your little one's choice), a sugar skull to decorate and take home, plus colouring and music. It's all done in plenty of time for trick or treating, and babies are very welcome.

£5 per child, free for adults. The bar is open for the grown ups too.
