210 miles. 24,000ft of climbing. Four days.
And one very good reason for doing it.
From Monday, Shallowford Trustees Ally Kohler and Johnny Walker will be setting out from the farm each morning to take on four challenging cycle routes across Devon, heading towards Plymouth, Exeter, Denbury and Okehampton 🚴🏻
They’ll be joined along the way by friends, volunteers, partner organisations, longtime supporters and local cyclists, with 15 riders taking part across the week.
The aim is to raise £10,000, enough to help around 180 children experience a four-day residential at Shallowford, particularly young people who might not otherwise get the chance to spend time on a working farm and out on Dartmoor.
As the week unfolds, we’ll also be sharing more about the people, partners and supporters connected to the ride, and the part they’ve played in Shallowford’s story.
