Our 'Hands on' approach, with us working as part of the team, encourages our staff to relax and converse in an efficient, polite manner, whilst retaining a friendly, but professional service. We strive to ensure that the service we provide is professional & efficient but above all else a personal service. Every wedding is unique, we like to meet with our couples at least 5-6 times before the big day so we can get to know them, and they can get to know our team and feel relaxed and able to alter or demand whatever they wish. The emphasis for us is about ensuring that we listen to our clients requirements - whether that be offering advice, guidance and support, a true hand holding exercise or for the more organised, following an agenda and itinerary! We want our clients to consider us not only a major part of their wedding day but to return to us in the future.

Last Friday was a rather special one here at the Lodge! ✨

We brought you along for the evening through our stories as we hosted for their wonderful Dartmoor Feast Evening.

Five fantastic local chefs came together to create an incredible evening of food, showcasing the very best of our local area — including our very own Head Chef Ed! 👨‍🍳

The food was absolutely impeccable, the atmosphere was brilliant, and it was such a pleasure to be part of an evening celebrating local talent, produce and everything that makes our little corner of Dartmoor so special.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making it such a wonderful evening. We loved having you with us! 🤍
