What to expect:
Sling Disco is a chance to get out dancing with your little one(s)...a mix of taught routines and some freestyling just like we're on a night out but it's daytime, we're sober and we have babies strapped to us! :)
What to bring:
Your baby/toddler in a sling/carrier of your choice - I'm a d
ance teacher rather than a babywearing consultant so please make sure you are happy with how to use your sling safely and comfortably. It's recommended that you wear your baby with their tummy facing you in a front carry, as that allows their spine to be in a better position. Back carries also work well for dancing if you have an older baby or toddler. I would definitely recommend that your baby can hold their head up well so 16 weeks is the minimum recommended age for sling disco. And maximum age is up to you although bringing your teenager in a sling might not be the best idea! If you aren't already familiar with the 'ticks' guidelines please have a look here

What to wear:
Anything you are comfy moving in - sparkly and dressed up or still in your pyjamas :) Flat shoes though please as it's safer, better for your back and less dangerous for any little ones running around. Concho Lounge have baby change facilities and a great family friendly menu. We will be in their upstairs room - just go to the back of the main room and straight up the stairs. You can leave buggies at the bottom of the stairs. Any other questions, ideas or song requests just get in touch...
