It’s Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival Isle of Wight time and beautiful trees from all our exhibitors are ready! There are performances 2pm & 4pm Thu-Sat and Sun at 12pm & 2pm! Pick up a programme at any of the venues for full details of everything going on! 🎄🎄🎄

Brighstone Reading Room & Social Club are running a series of three introduction and welcome to Snooker sessions in order to provide an opportunity to try this amazing game (with some basic coaching) and to drop in and meet other players.

These kick-off sessions are intended to get more people together playing snooker in the club leading to further opportunities for us all to improve our game whilst having fun!

It is our hope that given enough interest within the club that future events can be organised such as more advanced coaching sessions, an annual snooker tournament (based on handicap) and playing teams from other clubs (both home and away) on the Island.

This year’s introduction and welcome to Snooker sessions will be held from 6pm to 9pm on the evenings of

🗓️ Saturday 25th October
🗓️ Wednesday 29th October
🗓️ Thursday 6th November.

No Booking necessary – just come along with your cue.

The bar will be open serving refreshments during these times!

All are welcome including guests - we look forward to seeing you there!

Don’t forget that village legends the Brighstone Barnacles will be rehearsing at the club tonight along with East Cowes Shanty & Sea Gels Shanty Band as they get ready for a concert for Mountbatten Hospice. Starting at 7pm and the bar will be open. Members & Guests all welcome.

A friendly atmosphere, a bar well stocked to suit those doing dry January as well as everything else you’d expect. Two fantastic snooker tables, a darts board and lots more to keep you entertained.
