Llanwern Golf Club The course is a picturesque eighteen-hole, par 70 parkland course on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales in the middle of beautiful woodland countryside.

Llanwern Golf Club is one of the oldest in South Wales, established in 1928, and remains a members’ club dedicated to providing an excellent course and club facility for the benefit of golfers of all ages and backgrounds. We are situated just off the M4 motorway at junction 24 – just over a mile away from the Celtic Manor, the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup. We are also proud to offer Sky Sports in the clubhouse, so after a long day on the course you can come to the bar and watch big sporting events from PGA Golf to Premiership Football. We also offer excellent catering facilities, as well as a fully stocked Pro Shop and high quality professional teaching from our resident pro Steve Truman. 🏌️‍♂️ What an incredible achievement! 🏌️‍♂️

Huge congratulations to Kristos Stoneman, Jack Preece and Luke Naylon for taking on the unbelievable challenge of 72 holes of golf in a single day at Llanwern Golf Club in support of The Big Golf Race.

Four rounds. 72 holes. Around 26 miles walked. 15 hours of golf. 300+ balls hit. From sunrise to sunset. 💪⛳️

That’s not just a day of golf — that’s an incredible test of endurance, determination and teamwork, all for a fantastic cause.

Most importantly, they’ve helped raise awareness and vital funds for prostate cancer research, helping work towards earlier diagnosis and better outcomes for men.

Congratulations Kristos, Jack and Luke — absolutely outstanding effort. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Now it’s time for those well earned jars of nectar! 🍻⛳️
