Meet the Talent

Unapologetically bold, authentic and DIY, we're delighted to welcome Tyler Quantrill Music to the Big Little Community Festival.

These aren't just songs. They're an extension of Tyler himself.

Delivering intimate acoustic performances full of honesty and vulnerability, Tyler's music blends raw self-expression with stories and experiences that connect deeply with his audience.

Recorded at home in Rushden, his debut solo album 'A Transmission of Hope', released in 2024, has already received airplay on BBC Introducing Northampton. From the heavy riffs of The Buzzer to the emotional father-son duet Drowning In Holy Water, Tyler's music is as powerful as it is personal.

His musical journey has included almost 20,000 streams with Undamaged Destiny, critically acclaimed singles, headlining O2 Institute3 with Second City Sin and even international collaborations recorded over 3,000 miles apart.

Now, Tyler brings that journey to Newport Pagnell.

ONE WEEK TO GO

The lists are slowly getting shorter… mainly because I'm creating new ones faster than I'm ticking them off...

✅ Dream team of sound, lights and tech are on it
✅ Stock lists doubled
✅ Goodie bags everywhere
✅ Gazebos checked
✅ Gaffer tape supply secured
✅ Convincing myself that refreshing three weather apps will somehow change the forecast

And of course…

"WHERE'S ANT?" 🤣

Usually followed by finding him carrying three speakers, untangling cables, fixing a light, making everyone a cup of tea and somehow still smiling. Honestly, if the festival runs out of electricity, we'll probably just plug everything into Ant McAlpine.

The weather is currently behaving itself ☀️… but we all know that can change faster than Ant can put the kettle on, so naturally the weather apps are being checked approximately every 10 minutes.

The performers are ready, the volunteers are ready, local businesses are behind us, and somehow this crazy little idea is nearly here.

One week from now, hopefully we'll be filling Newport Pagnell with music, laughter, questionable dance moves and raising lots of money for some incredible charities.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to check the weather again…

At just 25, Lillibet has developed a style all of her own, blending the influences of Jazz, Folk, Country and contemporary Pop into something that is both beautifully sophisticated and wonderfully relatable.

With a voice that naturally commands attention and songs that carry a depth and maturity beyond her years, Lillibet creates music that invites you to stop, listen and connect.

For some people, music isn't just something they do – it's how they express themselves.

James Reuben Shaw has been performing live since he was just 17 and writing his own songs since the age of 15. Although life has taken him on a few twists and turns, one thing has remained constant – his passion for music.

Songwriting and performing have always been James' way of letting off steam, expressing himself and connecting with people through lyrics and melodies.

We're delighted to welcome him to the Big Little Community Festival and can't wait to hear what he has in store.
