To all of our lovely Royal Oak customers.
As I’m sure some of you have heard, myself and Sharlene Todd and our beautiful Reggie will be leaving The Royal Oak this coming Sunday.
It comes as a shock to us too. We never thought in a million years we’d be having to move on from here. To me this was my forever pub.
As I’m sure it’s become clear, the last few months have been difficult. There is so many reasons for this, but that will be kept private.
I just want to take a moment to thank everybody in Newick and the surrounding areas who have stuck by us, thick and thin. Sunday will be a very emotional day, and we would love to see as many of you as possible before we depart and get ready for our future together.
We will be raising a glass and having a catch up Sunday evening at 6pm. We would love to buy you a drink and thank you all face to face for one of the best years of our life, which has sadly been taken away early.
With sadness we say goodbye, but we leave with very fond memories and fantastic friends.
