Honey, I shrunk the Dreadnought 🙂

Here’s a first look at our new TMD model, also known as the mini dreadnought.

Designed and built by us in our Sussex workshop with the same attention to detail that defines every Turnstone instrument, but with its own distinct voice and identity.

We’ve been wanting to build this guitar for a long time.

The TMD is our newest model, designed for players who love the voice of a dreadnought but find the body too much to live with comfortably over a long session. We took that depth and low end weight and fitted it into a body you can settle into for hours without thinking about it.

The soundboard is Swiss Moon Spruce. The back and sides are Cocobolo. The binding and headstock are Snakewood.
