For 12 years H***hie Coochie has existed to share the music we love with the city we love. Bringing the best live funk, soul, jazz and more to Newcastle. One of the few truly independent venues in the city,
H***hie Coochie aims to let you see the artists you love in an up close and personal way that you won’t see anywhere else…and hopefully introduce you to some new ones too! A cool bar, a relaxe

d atmosphere, a wide and unique range of drinks and cocktails… expect to see live music from local, national and international artists, bands and Djs. When we don't have a live band playing, we'll still be playing the best Soul, Funk, Disco, House, Hip-hop & Jazz in Newcastle. If you weren’t already aware, we sold H***hie Coochie at the end of 2024 and now have our smaller, more intimate bar/cafe on The Quayside.

Same great tunes and same delicious drinks with the addition of some delicious food and beautiful views.
