For 12 years H***hie Coochie has existed to share the music we love with the city we love. Bringing the best live funk, soul, jazz and more to Newcastle. One of the few truly independent venues in the city,
H***hie Coochie aims to let you see the artists you love in an up close and personal way that you won’t see anywhere else…and hopefully introduce you to some new ones too! A cool bar, a relaxe

d atmosphere, a wide and unique range of drinks and cocktails… expect to see live music from local, national and international artists, bands and Djs. When we don't have a live band playing, we'll still be playing the best Soul, Funk, Disco, House, Hip-hop & Jazz in Newcastle. - We welcome walk-ins, however we cannot guarantee entry (except for ticketed events). If you want to ensure entry, we recommend emailing [email protected] to be put on the guest list, especially if in groups of more than 4. Booths can also be booked this way.

H***h Tiny Bar Gigs is delighted to present two of our favourite, local, professional musicians; Kerry Green & Les Watts.

Due to popular demand, we will be putting on both a matinee show at 5pm and an evening show at 7.45pm on Sunday 7th June.

Kerry and Les will be performing a collection of timeless Soul, Jazz and popular songs performed with warmth and humour.

If you weren’t already aware, we sold H***hie Coochie at the end of 2024 and now have our smaller, more intimate bar/cafe on The Quayside.

Same great tunes and same delicious drinks with the addition of some delicious food and beautiful views.
