New Car Park Rules at The Engine Inn 🚗 📸
Good morning everyone!
We are writing to let you know about some important changes regarding our pub car park, which come into effect starting today at 11:00 AM. Following a number of incidents over the past year, we are introducing a new camera-controlled system to ensure our car park remains safe, secure, and exclusively available for our customers.
Here is everything you need to know:
When are the cameras active? The cameras will be in operation daily from 11:00 AM until 5:00 AM the following morning. They are designed to deter anti-social behavior, littering, and improve overall security.What do I need to do when visiting? During trading hours (11am to 11pm), cars in the car park without a valid permit could be subject to a £100 fine. When you arrive, please speak to a member of staff inside who will gladly walk you through the process of getting your permit. Permits are obtainable inside The Engine Inn with any purchase.
School Drop-offs: We know many parents use our space in the morning. To support you, the cameras will not turn on until 11:00 AM. This ensures the car park can still be used safely for morning school drop-offs. We are also actively working with local schools to find a mutually convenient, off-road solution to ease traffic pressure moving forward.
Where can I see the full terms? Clear signage explaining all terms and conditions of fair use is posted around the entrance and throughout the car park.
