Well friends the signs are down but the planning application has not been passed so can still be objected too.
📢📢IMPORTANT UPDATE📢📢

There is now an offical planning application for the pub to change its use to a daycare centre. The Committee have been planning for this and has been working on a detailed objection.

We are objecting to the change of use on the four following main points

1)There are individuals and groups who would like to buy and run the pub as a profitable community pub and there is a real need and demand for this in the village.

2)The pub is a strong historical hub of the village with hundreds of years of important history.

3)The location is not suitable for the amount of vehicles that will need access and is likely to cause serious traffic and parking issues.

4)Having another nursery in the village will mean they are in direct competition with the school nursery and in turn may take funding away from the school.

But, one objection, however detailed, is not enough. This is where we need YOU! We strongly urge you to lodge your own objection to the planning application (you can find the link in the comments) Before you do, we advise looking over the plans themselves and also reading the councils advice on how to make a complaint (both links also in comments).

We only have until the end of the month to file any objections so please do this as soon as possible and remember to share with your friends!

The more objections that are received the stronger message to the council that we, as a village, as a community want to SAVE OUR PUB!

This is my first post in a long time.
Today I hear that the Pack will stop trading soon and a planning application has been submitted to change the use to a childrens daycare centre.
I ask all of you to read this appeal below from the Friends of The Pack Horse page and take action today if you agree with and support any of the points raised.
