Introducing the first cocktail from our new Halloween Menu, ‘Poppy Girl’ 🌺

Said to be the ghost of a young girl who once sold poppies, Poppy Girl was imprisoned and murdered in the dungeons beneath the Castle Keep. Legend has it she still wanders the castle, leaving the scent of flowers behind her.

Calling all ghosts, ghouls and Halloween enthusiasts… 👻

This week we officially unveiled our first ever Halloween transformation, along with a chilling new cocktail menu inspired by some of Newcastle’s most famous historical ghosts and the places they’re said to haunt.

Our new mascot has also arrived and will be watching over us throughout October. 🐰

We teamed up with Hollywood props and special effects company Orbital FX Limited to create what we hope is one of Newcastle’s most exciting Halloween installations yet.

The guys at Orbital were absolutely incredible. They’ve worked on Disney productions, and the team who created our giant rabbit even made Captain America’s shield — so it’s fair to say we were in good hands.

Come down, meet the new resident, have a look around and work your way through our limited-edition Halloween cocktail menu.

He’ll be here all October. 🎃👻
