Head up to the Alpine Terrace, find a spot in one of our heated huts, bring along food you’ve picked up from the Christmas markets and grab a drink from our festive bar.

Perfect for a quick festive drink, a catch-up with friends or somewhere warm to sit and soak up Christmas in the city.

Want your own private space? Our Luxe Igloos are also available to pre-book for Christmas parties, celebrations and festive get-togethers.

Walk-ins welcome throughout the season.

Moosenwirt is back this Christmas 🎄🍻

Our pop-up Alpine bar returns from 19th November, bringing festive drinks, cosy heated spaces and plenty of Christmas atmosphere right into the heart of Newcastle.

No booking needed, just head down, grab a drink and settle in. And if you’re planning a Christmas party or festive get-together, you can also book one of our private Luxe Igloos for your own space inside Moosenwirt.

We’re open right through until 31st December, so there’s plenty of time to get your festive fix ❄️

We’re reopening on Thursday 19th November and we cannot wait to get Christmas started properly.

🎄🎅🏼❄️ MERRY CHRISTMAS!… From all the team at we hope you all have an amazing Xmas day and a wonderful festive period!!
… Remember even though all the markets are now sadly closed after a fantastic few weeks, is open this week for post Xmas bevs, the rides at are open daily, PLUS on New Years Eve head down to the quayside with the family early (3/4ish) for the fireworks starting at 6pm!… Huge thanks for all the love and support from the millions that visited the past 5 weeks in Newcastle!… X
