Delighted that The Outside Chance's first event of the year will be this Sunday at Barbury Races for the Vine and Craven Hunt Point to Point.
Set to be a cracking day - first race is at 11.30am.
Might be a wee bit wet and windy but don't worry - we have heating, a well stocked bar/coffee station & TVs showing the racing.
We will also be serving Barbury Gold - a delicous ale brewed especially for the event by Ramsbury Distillery - apparently if you drink this you will have lots of winners!!
Located in the prime position next to the paddock and with fantastic views of the course - look forward to seeing you there!

Delighted to announce that The Outside Chance will feature at this year's The Peter O'Sullevan Lambourn Open Day!
Overlooking the main arena the large public bar will have a fantastic view of all the action during the afternoon and when that stops live band MOJO Band will keep you entertained!
Many thanks to Melbourne 10 who have generously sponsored the bar - now fingers crossed for some great weather!.

Great news ! The Outside Chance is back at Newbury Racecourse this Saturday for the biggest flat meeting of the year, featuring the Al Shaqab Racing Lockinge. Located in the Premier Enclosure, the bar now features a raised sundeck overlooking the horsewalk. As usual we will have guaranteed winning tips from the biggest racing celebrities, large TVs, Tote betting and after racing we will host the official after-party!

The Outside Chance is back this weekend at Newbury Racecourse for the Bet 365 Hennessy Festival. Located in the Premier Enclosure, this warm & dry bar gives you the perfect base from which to enjoy the very best racing: open from 10.30am, guaranteed winning tips, large TVs, Tote betting, VIP Enclosure and official after-party!

Sad to be leaving Badminton but yippee, The Outside Chance is off to Newbury Racecourse for their big flat meeting of the year, featuring The Lockinge.

Champ jockey Richard Hughes has kindly agreed to be our landlord whilst AP enjoys his first proper holiday in 20 years. He will be up against Frankie in our champion tipster competition - on stage at The Outside Chance from 12.30pm.

After racing we have the band MOJO playing - the same group that wowed Badminton. Hope you are all up for some great racing and the BIG PARTY!!

Was told Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall from was coming down to The Outside Chance @ Badminton to taste our wagyu burger, so big panic in kitchen!
But it was his dad, Rob.
His verdict - "Scrumptious, succulent and totally yummy"
Top man!!
Hugh would probably say it would be better if it was a squirrel burger!!!

Skies a bit grey but all feeling lovely and blue !
All set for the perfect Outside Chance day - walk course, elevenses, see a horse, lunch, retail therapy, exhausted - time for refreshing Langley's gin cocktail or Pommery champagne, curry or delicious Boisdale burger, PARTY!!!!

Finishing touches being put to The Outside Chance at Badminton Horse Trials - then all set for 9am breakfast opening tomorrow. Forecast a bit blustery so if you want to escape the weather, pop on down - we're dry & warm!!!

Highlights tomorrow include the first official tasting of Mike Tucker's Wagyu Badminton Burger, made exclusively for Boisdale Restaurants and The Outside Chance. Tasting starts at 12.30pm with Mike and celebrity "masterchefs", then it's over to you to decide!

Options include having the wagyu burger on its own or with delicious Boisdale toppings - lemon & tarragon mayonnaise or going to town with roast field mushrooms and black truffle mayo !!!!!!

But be quick, we only have 300 wagyu burgers and with a crowd of 100,000+ expected over the weekend - they won't last long!

But if they do go, don't panic - there's plenty of choice on the menu...
