A polite notice to our neighbours and customers

We don’t like to moan but we do need to address an ongoing issue with our car park.

Our car park is for customers of the pub and for shop customers while they are visiting the shop. Unfortunately we have noticed a number of vehicles being left for extended periods by people not using either business.

This has resulted in us losing custom as potential customers have driven past believing we were full and unable to accommodate them.

We kindly ask that if you are not visiting the pub or shop, you please make alternative parking arrangements and leave the spaces available for genuine customers.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we continue to grow our business. If you would like to discuss this with us, please feel free to pop in and speak with Kerry or Natalie.

One Month In…

What a month it has been!

A huge thank you to our fantastic locals, customers and staff for making our first month so special. The support, encouragement and feedback we’ve received has been incredible and we’re genuinely grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors.

We’re really starting to build something special here-great food that’s gaining momentum every week, a brilliant atmosphere and a pub full of friendly faces. Seeing people enjoying themselves, returning with friends and family and sharing such positive feedback makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Of course we’re only just getting started. We have plenty of exciting plans, events, food ideas and improvements still to come, and we can’t wait to share the next chapter with you all.

Thank you for being part of the journey so far. Here’s to the next month and beyond🙌🙌

👨‍🍳 COMMIS CHEF / CHEF’S HELPER WANTED 👨‍🍳

The White Hart is looking for an experienced, reliable and hard working person to join our kitchen team.

This is a fast paced fresh food pub kitchen so previous kitchen experience is essential.

Working days: Thursday to Sunday
Duties include:

* Food preparation
* Assisting during busy service
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation
* Supporting the chef throughout service

We’re looking for someone who:

* Works well under pressure
* Has good kitchen awareness
* Is reliable and punctual
* Can work Thursday to Sunday

Competitive pay based on experience.

What a Bank Holiday weekend ☀️🍻

From the incredible music courtesy of WLDFLWRS & Paul Turner, the amazing food to all the lovely feedback we’ve received, we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The pub was absolutely buzzing all weekend with sunshine, laughter and such a brilliant atmosphere.

Saturday tested us a little with being understaffed in that heat but the team dug deep, pulled together and smashed it. So proud of every single member of staff for keeping the drinks flowing, food going out and smiles on faces all weekend long 👏

And to our customers-thank you. For your patience, your support, your kind words, your dancing, your singing and for making The White Hart what it is. Weekends like that are exactly why we do it ❤️

Now… someone turn the temperature down a few degrees before the next one please 🥵☀️😂
