🌟Rally 2026🌟

A few weeks ago our members headed to Ayr market to competed in this years rally. Thank you for all your hard work and effort not only on the day but also on the run up to it as well. 👏

Our members competed in various competitions throughout the day, well done to everyone who placed in the events. 🏅

A special mention must go to Hayley Young who won the John Kerr Memorial Quaich for best novice performer in beef section. 🏆

Huge well done to Mauchline YFC for winning the Rally Trophy, Crossroads Young Farmers Club for winning the Anniversary Trophy and beith_youngfarmers for winning the Holehouse Trophy

🎨West Handicrafts 🎨

On Saturday, our senior handicrafts team headed along to Ayr show to compete in West competition with our après ski display. Well done to all who took part especially those who haven’t done it before! 🎿🧶🪡

On Wednesday, we held our first hockey tournament in conjunction with Ayr YFC and Mauchline YFC at Doonside Playing Fields 🏑
The results were:

Last night, we headed along to Maybole Town Hall to support our amazing secretary, Anna Clark, in the Rally Queen Competition 🥰
She did amazing and picked up second place 🥳🤩
Also a huge well done to Kirsty Craig of Beith being crowned Ayrshire Rally Queen and Cara Murdoch of Crossroads picking up 3rd place 👏🥳

👑 Week of Queens 👑

Last but certainly not least is Anna Clark of New Cumnock Young Farmers. Anna is 22 and has been part of the club for 7 years. She is also the newly appointed Ayrshire Assistant Secretary as well as current club secretary for the second year running 🤩

Anna has thrown herself into most young farmers events over the years from baking, netball and stock judging to name a few! The highlight of her year is Rally day as it brings their small but mighty club together with everyone trying their hardest. When Anna is not busy with young farmers she’s likely helping her dad on their beef and sheep farm 🐮

Anna is currently studying midwifery as well as working her part time job as a pharmacy dispenser. In her free time she enjoys hill walking and exploring new places 🥾☀️
