After a lot of thought, we’re sad to announce that The Corner House has now closed its doors.
Like so many businesses in hospitality, the last few years have become increasingly difficult. Rising costs across the board, increased bills, supplier prices, wages and the general cost of running a late-night venue have all continued to climb, while trading conditions have become tougher and tougher.
Unfortunately, we reached a point where continuing simply wasn’t sustainable.
We want to say a massive thank you to every single person who has supported The Corner House over the years — everyone who came through the doors, celebrated birthdays with us, danced until closing time, enjoyed a drink on the terrace, supported our events and helped create some brilliant memories.
A huge thank you also goes to every member of staff, past and present, who played their part in making the venue what it was. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
Running The Corner House has had plenty of highs and lows, but we’ll always be grateful for the good times, the friendships made and the memories created.
