All good things must come to an end and the end for the Rock Pool Cafe will be on Sunday 30th October when we will close the doors for the last time.We have been here for ten long years and our lease has come to an end with no option to renew.
We came to be here by accident when we were looking for a gift shop to sell our handmade tiles (Welbeck Tiles) we viewed this place which at the time was in a very sorry state indeed but we could instantly see the potential and thought why not combine selling tiles/ gifts and coffee how hard can it be…
We spent the first few months putting our stamp on the place we didn’t have lots of money to put into it so it was done on a shoestring but we put our heart completely into it using our creative skills to the full to create the unique place it has become.
We would like to thank our staff for all their hard work and commitment especially Oliver,Erin,Roy& Rhiannah plus all our part time girls you’ve been amazing.
We leave here very proud of what we managed to create with you.We take with us a decade of memories,new friends,tears,funny stories, enough to write a book watch this space!
Most importantly of all we would like to say a massive thank you to each and every one of our customers that have supported us over the years you have literally been the heartbeat to it all.
