📼 BACK TO THE 80s – QUIZ RESULTS! 📼

Well, that was chocka! A massive 67 players across 15 teams packed into The Brick Club for our final quiz for a little while — and you certainly made it a lively send-off! 😂

It was close. Can You Help? managed to pip Simple Minds by just HALF A POINT to take the top spot and £33.50! 🏆 They then gambled half their winnings on the Champions’ Gamble for £63.50... but sadly, they couldn't help themselves with that one. 😬 The £63.50 rolls over to next time!

🥉 Football Brians & Norfolk n Chance — 10 Open The Box each for joint third
🎟️ Quizzy Rascals & Doubles 4 Dough — 10 Open The Box each from the spot prize draw
🃏 Play Your Cards Right proved more difficult to navigate than a road atlas in the dark — nobody managed to claim the shots and 10 OTB!

Then came Open The Box, and things got a little weird again...
The Football Brians somehow managed to land the FIRST AND SECOND draws, before Doubles 4 Dough finally broke their monopoly and grabbed the third. I'm starting to suspect the Brians are performing some sort of hoodoo on that spin wheel. 🧙‍♂️😂

But despite all those chances, D was the winning letter for the SECOND WEEK RUNNING... but this time nobody picked it! 🤦‍♂️
So Open The Box jumps to £200 for the next quiz! 💷📦

Expect the unexpected from the decade that gave us big hair, questionable fashion and some absolute classics!

And both of our big prizes have had a reset, so we’re starting from scratch:

🌺 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY – LIVE MUSIC 🎶

On Sunday 8th November, we're hosting a special afternoon of live music at Red Row Brick Club, raising money for the Royal British Legion.

🎤 We're delighted to already have Classy Lassy and Paige Cooper Music singing for us.

🌺 Donation buckets will be available throughout the afternoon, with all money collected going to the Royal British Legion. So please bring a few pennies (or pounds!) to support a fantastic cause.

🎶 WHAT A NIGHT AT THE BRICK CLUB! 🎶

What a difference a fortnight makes! After a quieter night last time out, our Buskers Night was back with a bang on Tuesday, with a packed lounge and 15 performers keeping everyone entertained! 🎸🎤

It was especially lovely to see two fabulous young talents, Paige and Jay, getting up and showing us what they can do, alongside our fantastic regulars and other performers.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, whether you were performing, singing along or simply enjoying the music. It's the support from the audience that makes these nights so special! ❤️

🎂 FOUR YEARS OF QUIZ MAYHEM! 🎂

Well, our 4th Quiziversary certainly delivered! A whole quiz based around FOUR, plenty of groans, and by the end of the night… considerably less money in the pots. 😂

🏆 1st – Football Brians - £31.50 + 20 OTB
🥈 2nd – Simple Minds - 20 OTB
🥉 3rd – Norfolk n Chance – 10 OTB
🌳 Challenger Winners – Tricky Trees £31.50 + 20 OTB
🎯 Spot Prize – Hadda Mad Dogs – 10 OTB
🍹 Play Your Cards Right – Tricky Trees – 10 OTB + shots

Tricky Trees were first to do the damage, gambling their £31.50 Challenger winnings on Mouse Trap… and finding the winner! 🐭💰
That meant £197.50 heading their way from the Champions’ Gamble.

Then came the £1,200 Open The Box…
Out of 452 tickets, somehow ALL THREE drawn belonged to Football Brians. 🤯 How FOURtunate!
