🛋️ DR RALPH'S THERAPY SESSION ENDS IN FINANCIAL RUIN 🛋️
57 patients across 13 teams checked in for what can only be described as a quiz for the ages, featuring a couple of experimental treatments that caused equal amounts of confusion, paranoia and laughter.
When the dust settled, Football Brians scraped the win by just HALF A POINT from Why Do We Bother?, with Doubles 4 Dough and Norfolk n Chance sharing third place.
Moff (Robert Wilson) stepped up to face the Champions Question and, when the random category landed on Sport, an audible groan echoed around the room. The groans soon disappeared when the question turned out to be about the Winter Olympics. But using a process of elimination, subconscious recall, and gut instinct he narrowed it down to USA or Norway and correctly chose Norway (most Winter Olympic gold medals), landing himself £192.50 from the Champions Question pot. Combined with the quiz prize of £28.50, that was a very healthy £221 heading back to the team. Well done Moff!
It was also a night for BIG money. On the third attempt of the evening, Sharon picked her initial and opened the box containing £1200, shared between three of her team. Another huge congratulations!
As psychiatrists are generally supposed to take people's money rather than hand it out, this proved to be a spectacularly unsuccessful business model. By the end of the night, £1,421 had left the building.
We go again in a fortnight on Thursday 18th June. And as Linda shouted "Start it at £200!" when the box was reset, who am I to argue?
