The Three Wheat Heads is a charming three hundred year old Northumbrian country pub in the attractive village of Thropton, just two miles from Rothbury and twelve miles from Alnwick in Northumberland. Our traditional North East country pub is set amongst breathtaking views overlooking the Simonside Hills and provides bed and breakfast accommodation with luxury bedrooms. The Three Wheat Heads also has an established fine dining restaurant (mentioned in many food and drink guides) and was voted winner of The Best Sunday Lunch competition for 2007/08, run by The Northumberland Gazette. CUSTOMER NOTICE
Due to circumstances beyond our control we will be closing the kitchen on a Monday all day effective from 10th November and the kitchen will close at 7pm on a Sunday effective from 16th November. The bar will remain open at these times. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
