Long time no speak!😨 Our quiz master Lucy has been working hard on her uni submissions👩🏼‍🎓 but is ready to see you all TONIGHT with a brand new quiz🤩 So who’s ready for a brand new round…😦 that’s right, we’re introducing a HEAD TO HEAD, QUICK FIRE ROUND🔥 the first team to answer takes the point🏆 which means the quiz is ANYBODY’S game!👀
If your team answers wrong, you’re frozen out until the next question❌ We’ve even introduced some new rules, but we’ll explain those later🤫

Hello everyone!👋🏻

Who’s excited for Thursday?😁 We know we are🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼 we almost forgot to remind you🤔 about the timings of the quiz‼️Since the quiz has been extended by another round🤩 the night will go on longer this month🥳 Since a few of you asked💭 each round should last roughly 15 minutes⏰ and you’ll get 10 minutes between each round to get a drink or pop to the loo🍺 While we don’t want to start without you😧 when the 10 minutes are up, the next round will start🥰

On the same note, the quiz STARTS at 7⏳ so you’ll need to be in your seats 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 with your team registered📄 your pizza order🍕and table number #️⃣ given to Lucy by that time😊 We recommend getting to the pub around 6:30pm😚 so you can settle in and grab your drinks🍻 ready for the start of the quiz💃🏼

Good Morning everyone!❤️

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to the quiz🥰 Lucy’s voice is a little worse for wear this morning, which is a first😜 but don’t you worry, next month we’ll be back with a proper mic and speaker🎤 for our first quiz back, we were so grateful to see so many of your lovely faces🤗

We’d love to get some feedback on our quiz❓so if you have any requests for future rounds📝 or any comments about last nights quiz💭 we’d be grateful to hear, so go ahead and drop us a message📱so we can make it even better next time🤩

Hey everyone!👋🏻

We’re so excited to welcome you into the pub tomorrow night for our first quiz🧙🏻‍♂️ Following on from yesterdays post, here’s a few tips we’d like to give you about what the plan is🥳

The quiz is starting at 7pm⏰ so we’d recommend getting down at around 6:30pm to secure your table and get your team registered✏️

Our quiz master Lucy will be located in the front room of the pub next to the front entrance (opposite Job Centre) from 6:30pm to help you get registered smoothly🥰 don’t forget to have your team name at the ready so she can check everyone’s back at the start of every round; we’d hate to start without you!✨

Remember your £2 per person; we’re CASH ONLY💰for the quiz and bingo payments. Once we’ve received your payment for the quiz, we’ll make sure to take note of your table so we can give you the question sheet at the start of the quiz🧐 You’ll be given only the sheet for that round, so you can’t have a cheeky peek at the next few rounds!📝

We’ll take payment for bingo at the very end of the quiz, as this will be the final round👏🏻 remember, bingo is optional but the winners of the quiz will be called AFTER the bingo finishes so you can all shiver with anticipation😉

As always, everything else in the pub you can pay cash or card for at the bar😆 Alternatively, if you fancy relaxing even more, you can order and pay via the Wetherspoon app📱if you need a hand downloading it, one of our team will be happy to help☺️

As always, we have our drinks deals on which we think would be the perfect accompaniment for your quiz🍺 (always drink responsibly)

To order your teams free pizza, you must have made payment for every member of your team before the order is placed🍕 This of course is limited to one pizza per team, but please don’t hesitate to speak to management for further details🤩

Last but not least, there will be a 15 minute break between rounds for you to pop to the loo or grab yourself another drink🍾 as mentioned before, Lucy will check that the whole team is back before the next round starts so no one misses out!😜

Welcome to the page for our brand new Quiz at the Wiz!🧙🏻‍♂️ We’re so excited to be bringing a fresh new quiz to Morpeth and we can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces with us🕺🏼

FAQS:
Q: What time does the quiz start?⏰
A: The quiz starts at 7pm, so you’ve got plenty of time to get here after work and get yourself a drink in!🍹

Q: When is the quiz on?🗓
A: The quiz runs every last Thursday of the month. This months quiz is 27th January!🎉

Q: Where’s the quiz? 📍
A: The quiz is at The Electrical Wizard, Morpeth, NE61 1PS. You can find us over the road from the Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre, opposite the Job Centre and beside Primo Piano. Parking is free at either of the car parks beside the pub from 6pm onwards, or the bus station is a short 5 minute walk from us! 🚘

Q: Is there a theme? 🔮
A: Not necessarily, no. We’ve written the perfect quiz for all ages, with four different rounds, and twenty questions per round. These rounds will change every month, so keep your eyes peeled and check out our page for more info👀

Q: How much is the quiz? 💰
A: The main quiz (four rounds, twenty questions per round) costs £2 per person. This cost of course includes the FREE pizza for your team🍕 (speak to management for more details) The bingo round costs £2 per person too; that’s one game of bingo with the chance to win the money in the pot🤑

Q: What are the prizes? ✨
A: We have some fabulous prizes up for grabs, with the winner of the quiz getting a Wetherspoon gift voucher that can be used in any participating Wetherspoon🍺, the best team name picked by our quizmaster Lucy winning a free mystery prize🤫 and the winner of the bingo gets to take home the money in the pot!💸
