Eat inside or outside the pub, with a fine glass of something.

Also on Thursday and from 6.30pm, a show outside from the Hexham Morris Dancers.

And on SATURDAY, 30th May - D.I.S.C.O. The return of DJ HENNERS, spinning a few discs from 9pm to make those toes tap in your dancing shoes. Proper tunes.

HEADS-UP, everyone.

This Saturday, 23rd May, we are hosting a wedding. A lovely local couple are tying the knot, then having their Reception and party at the pub.

Hence, otherwise closed for Saturday.

See you all on Friday, Sunday, and on Bank Holiday Monday with pizza. Closed Tuesday 26th. Then normal opening from Wednesday, 4pm as usual, Tuesdays to Sundays.

SATURDAY, 23RD May we are CLOSED for a private event, the wedding of a local couple.

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY, 25th May - TRIGO WOODFIRED PIZZA. Bruno is back in town for a swift visit. Hurrah.

Serving 4.30-8.30pm. The forecast is good for later week and the weekend, so a beer or 2 with your favourite pizza, outside in the sun. Doesn't get much better, eh??!

FOODIES, haven't we been spoilt this week? STREET KITCHEN on Thursday, then BRASA yesterday. Both utterly delicious and great value. Much pub talk about both - alot of happy punters with very happy tummies! Thanks v much to Matt and to Hugo respectively.

This week, Saturday 9th May, 4.30-8.30pm, Matt is returning with STREET KITCHEN and his other menu of pie and mash. Pies handmade, with all the trimmings. I cannot wait!!

Today, TUESDAY 5th May we are CLOSED following yesterday's Bank Holiday. Normal opening from tomorrow, Wednesday, 4pm. (Closed Mondays, except Bank Holidays. Open Tuesday to Sunday all year from 4pm).
