Men & Women Senior Teams / Junior Teams - Sponsored by Sprayed Concrete Solutions. Morecambe Cricket Club is an English cricket club based in the tourist resort of Morecambe, Lancashire. The club plays its home matches at Woodhill Lane in the Palace Shield. The club runs five teams, the 1st playing in the Palace Shield. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams compete in the Westmorland League. We also have Women's team
The club also runs a number of junior teams, varying in age ranges and they all compete against local sides. The club also has a large function room that holds up to 100 guests that is available throughout the year

Congratulations to Heidi Mosey, celebrating her 100th Birthday

Pictured yesterday Heidi Mosey with her card from the King celebrating with her three children: Angela, Anthony and Ruth.

Heidi is the widow of former MCC chairman Derek Mosey, who was long term editor of The Visitor and driving force behind the clubs survival and revival during the 1970’s including the new clubhouse and bar.

Heidi could be found helping prepare teas during this period

She is also mother in law to former 1st team captain Stuart Smith

As some of you are aware MCC doesn't have a team in the league. MCC are the longest running team venue in the league even back to the days of John Stewart in nappies 😁
