Experienced Front of House Team Member Required *Immediate Start*

The Abermule Inn is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our busy team with an immediate start available.

The ideal candidate will:

* Be aged 18 or over
* Have previous experience working in a hospitality or front of house role
* Be confident serving customers and providing excellent customer service
* Be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment
* Have a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
* Be reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
* Be able to provide references

Duties will include welcoming customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, and helping to ensure a high standard of service at all times.

Rate of pay: To be discussed at interview and dependent on experience.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

What a turnout for Mulefest 2026 ❤️

When we first started Mulefest 4 years ago, in the summer after the lockdowns, it was to bring people together for a great day and raise money for important causes, that’s still exactly what it’s about today.

There are always a few stressful moments behind the scenes, but seeing everyone turn up, support it, and create such a great atmosphere makes it all worth it.

A massive thank you to everyone who came through the doors, all of our staff, performers, our set up and clean up team and everyone working behind the scenes to make it happen. And a special thank you to the local businesses who supported us - what a great bunch you are.

Mulefest is still what it started as, people coming together for a good day and a good cause.

Nearly 2 weekends to go until MULEFEST 2026 🎤💃

A few newcomers on the line up as well as some of your favourites, plus our DJs who never fail to get you grooving! 😜

We’ll have the bouncy castle and kids corner on all day, but kindly ask that all under 18’s be accompanied by an adult and vacate by 9pm (licensing rules) 🙂

Street food will be on all day and the bars will be fully stocked and ready for a good ol’ party! 🍹💃

This year we’re proudly supporting Friends of Abermule School and Ponthafren 💙

So without further ado.. bring your friends, bring your family, and come celebrate with us for a full day of music and fun 🔥🕺🏻

Unfortunately, it seems that our Google Business Profile has recently received a number of fabricated one-star reviews.

These reviews were all posted at the same time from profiles we do not recognise, do not match any bookings or customer records, and we do not believe they reflect genuine experiences at The Abermule Inn. We have reported the reviews to Google and are currently appealing them through the correct process.

As a local business and part of the local community, our reputation for providing high-quality food and drink in a welcoming atmosphere means a huge amount to us. We take great pride in the service we provide and the relationships we have built with our loyal customers.

So, in trying to turn a negative into a positive, we are asking for a favour.
