Lost Property Alert!!!!

If you were in last night and have woken up this morning with that nagging feeling that something just isn’t right and a smaller than anticipated manhood, this may be yours. Found by Crypto the Border Terrier under the back right table at dinnertime today.

Sorry he chewed your box so I hope it wasn’t an Easter gift for the fatha. We’ve popped it in the cellar for safekeeping so it doesn’t choke an unsuspecting Alsatian.

Currently about 18 degrees with a pub full of lovely beer. We all know that working from home only involves wiggling a mouse every 10 minutes and watching Bargain Hunt so get you laptop out and get down for early pints. The boss would want you to.

For all of you with jobs where you are expected to be at work, just tell the punters the electric’s gone off and they’ll need to come back on Monday for their heart operation / financial advice / new blouse / funeral / whatever really.

See you soon and as an added bonus for you lucky people this weekend you will be served on Saturday and Sunday by the legendary Spanish Steve back from his 6 year Barcelona sabbatical and ready for action.

Quick heads up to Whitley and beyond tonight. This young chap is out and about looking for anything that isn’t nailed down rather than a few quiet pints. He’s pinched a pair of wireless headphones from our place so if you know him give us a shout, and if you don’t, keep an eye out for him generally thieving in the the area.

We have Christmas Carols tomorrow (Tuesday night) from 7pm. We have the pleasure of hosting the North Tyneside Disabilty Forum Choir for some carol singing to get you all in the mood for the big day. By way of a disclaimer none of those pictured below will be present or singing so I want no complaints that you only came down to see Carol Kirkwood sing Little Donkey and therefore you want the price of your pint back.

If you haven’t already got your tickets then now is the time. Some of us will be down at Salt Market next Friday and Saturday pouring beers alongside some legends of the local beer scene at what turned out to be a very canny weekend last time out.

PS to the nice chap in Tynemouth, I pinky promise I won’t go to sleep in your front garden again on my way home. I’m having a sensible Saturday this time.
